NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is an accreditation programme created to assess the conformity of special processes in the aerospace and defence industries.
The purpose of a NADCAP audit is to assess and certify that the processes and techniques used in manufacturing comply with the rules of the aerospace and defence sector.
The programme applies a managed audit approach that follows stringent requirements for production processes such as Heat Treatment (HT), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Surface Enhancement (SE), Chemical Processing (CP), Welding (WLD), Coatings and Nonconventional Machining (NM).
