Electrical Device Calibration
Calibration of process instruments against traceable reference standards.
Process instrument calibration is the process of evaluating and documenting an instrument’s measurement by comparing it with a traceable reference standard.
The main reasons for calibrating instruments are to establish traceability, to quantify the instrument’s error through an uncertainty calculation, and to build confidence in the measurement. To be sure a process is valid, every instrument in the chain has to be calibrated.
The calibration interval should be determined by how the equipment is used, the processes it serves and the standards you are audited against.
Instruments we calibrate
- Temperature calibrators (Fluke, Beamex, Keysight, etc.)
- Temperature data recorders (Agilent, Eurotherm, Keysight, Uni-T, etc.)
- Thermocouple calibration
- Resistance thermometers
- Temperature controller calibration
- Digital temperature indicators
- Humidity and temperature meters, multimeters
Electrical quantities (DC/AC voltage, DC/AC current, DC resistance) were added to our TÜRKAK accreditation scope in the revision dated 26 August 2025; see the TÜRKAK Electrical Calibration page for details.
